Pluses

2016

"Very supportive culture and plenty of opportunities to work on high-profile projects with early responsibility."
Graduate, London
"The people are amazing! Everyone's so friendly and willing to help you out. Just because you're junior, it doesn't mean you're not important. If you have something interesting to say, people will want to hear it. As a graduate, you get to go on a two-week training course and meet other grads and build a community of friends within the organisation. My cohort have gone for after-work drinks every Friday since we started. The work/life balance is great compared with other consultancies, although this will depend on your project. The projects are interesting and you get to engage with senior client stakeholders within your first few months."
Graduate, London
"There's a big emphasis on networking and building connections at PA, which means it's really easy to meet all the friendly and interesting people who work here. Our consultants are contributors at all levels of our community and take time out of their diaries to run training sessions for colleagues and organise community events, which means it's easy to meet people outside of your usual networks. Moreover, PA's flat structure and lack of hierarchy means that you are encouraged to get to know people at all levels of the organisation. Partners are also willing to take time out of their day to grab coffee and give advice."
Graduate, London
"The flexibility. There's an emphasis on network building so it's very sociable. We get good pay, lots of opportunities and freedom over our own careers."
Graduate, London
"The high levels of responsibility awarded to even junior roles. You are expected to represent both yourself and PA to the highest standards and are given interesting and challenging assignments from the start."
Graduate, London
"Everyone in the company is extremely welcoming and friendly. There are great opportunities in a wide range of projects to gain experience in skills you might want to build on. The salary is extremely competitive."
Graduate, London
"The lack of hierarchy and bureaucracy is something that is immediately noticeable. From day one, you are working with very senior people – meaning you learn quickly."
Graduate, London
"You get amazing opportunities to meet clients and huge amounts of freedom and responsibility early on. You also get the freedom to choose exactly what you want to do and where you want to go (you'll never get assigned to a project you don't want to do)."
