Graduate Automation Engineer

In this role, you have the opportunity to join the transformational team, Digital and Computational Pathology (DCP). DCP are a global pioneer in the development of web-based software to support cancer research. We design and develop ground-breaking technology that dramatically impacts medical science. You are responsible for;

Working as part of the Tissue Mark product development team with tasks including, but not be limited to:

  • Testing modern web based applications that are used in the fight against cancer 
  • Participate in an agile/scrum including user story estimation, task creation and driving to complete tasks within the sprint
  • Understand requirements (user stories) and contribute to creation and executing tests, to ensure the highest quality products
  • Become part of a dedicated, hardworking scrum team that are involved in all parts of the software development life cycle from user story creation to testing
  • Debugging of issues and working closely with the development team to investigate test failures and issues
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by Management

You are a part of a team of passionate, engaged and excited people who are advocates of software engineering best practices and are eager to learn and grow while mentoring those around them, reporting into the Test Verification Lead. This placement is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and is a permanent position. 

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience;

  • Have complete or due to complete a degree related to software development
  • Excellent problem solving
  • Experience in ASP.NET (C#)
  • Experience in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
