All of our graduate programmes take part in a community project each year, working with a community group, charity or local worthy cause. Example projects in recent years have included garden refurbishments for schools, charities, hospices and hospitals – a shipping container fitted out as a liveable space to help the homeless, or a school project Viking long house using sustainable, recycled materials! The graduates will be given no budget and will rely on their own ingenuity and the skills and network contacts they have gained during their time in the business. Whilst challenging, each group gains a great deal in terms of confidence, team working and project management and Redrow continue to put something back into the communities we work with.
What we’re looking for
Here at Redrow we focus on getting the right people, therefore we accept applicants with a 2:1 in any discipline for our Graduate Trainee roles, and Construction Management / Construction related degrees for our construction focused programme.
Demonstrable experience of strong communication skills and working well in teams
A positive, “can-do” attitude is essential
A willingness to learn and develop
A full UK driving license is essential for construction management due to the remote nature of our developments, desirable for all other roles.

We look for applicants across England and Wales, but from time to time we may not be able to find a placement in your local area, therefore the more flexible you are and open to temporary relocation, the better.
Be clear and concise, and make sure that everything that goes into your application represents your qualities.
What next? – Our applications close in January 2018, as we expect a large number of applications please don’t expect to hear back until February. Our assessment days will be in February/ March with interviews and verbal offers made shortly after. You will start between July and September, depending on your chosen programme.
