"Why this firm? Why law? Tell us about a time when you have exceeded expectations."

"I was asked questions about myself, why I studied certain modules, what skills I gained from my previous jobs, why I chose to work in some of my previous job, what I like to do in my spare time etc. The questions are there to determine what kind of a person you are, so speak about yourself honestly and enthusiastically. There were also no trick questions (eg how do you eat an elephant), unlike at most other law firms."
