Engineering, Business and Operations Internships - 12 months
A career with Rolls-Royce means creating cleaner, safer, more competitive power. We work collaboratively, think boldly and challenge ourselves to find solutions to some of our planet’s most vital power needs. For you, this is a chance to be involved in incredible work that shapes the way we live.
Delivering on our ambitions takes not only the best technical minds, but also the brightest business thinkers. You’ll get to work on projects which support a real business need, with a direct link to our products and customers. This will be equivalent to one of the attachments from our graduate programme and makes for a fantastic opportunity to contribute, share your ideas and make a difference. Your day-to-day tasks will vary, and you’ll receive support from skilled professionals within the business, all committed to helping you to deliver your best.
You can choose from Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronics, Hydromechanical, Materials, Nuclear Controls, Software, Systems, Submarines Engineering, Commercial, Human Resources, Project Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
Whichever route you choose, you’ll gain lots of practical experience, build new skills, and get a deep insight into our business. If you’re a student member of an institute, experience gained on your internship can be used to credit some of your learning towards your graduate programme and chartership status, should you choose to join. It’s an amazing opportunity to start your career.
What you’ll need
You should be on track to achieve at least a 2:1 in your degree – you can find specific details for your chosen programme on our careers site. Just as importantly, you’ll need to be bold, collaborative, communicative, curious and eager to embrace different ways of thinking. Above all, you’ll enjoy the chance to bring a fresh perspective to a business that’s rising to the challenges of powering our planet – now and in the future.
