Relations with Management

7.3 / 10

(based on 6 ratings in 2016)

"Managers are time constrained with focus on targets etc. However, they do make themselves accessible for employees. You take the good behaviours from each of the managers you meet along the way and use those skills you've seen to mould yourself into the manager you want to be. You have to be persistent with receiving feedback from managers as it is your development at the end of the day. Managers will be quick to highlight areas of improvement and do praise you for accomplishments."
Entry level, Chelmsford
"Generally, managers are accessible and approachable and you have the opportunity to develop relationships and have mentors who are senior management level. As an employee, you always feel in the loop as there are regular internal communications and the monthly 'courier' magazine."
HR, Graduate, Sheffield
"Most managers or employees who have been at Royal Mail for a long time are very supportive and encouraging towards graduates."
