"The quality of work really varies depending on the department you are in. Some trainees are given responsibilities to draft witness statements and communicate with the opposing side, while others spend the majority of their time bundling or reviewing documents. It is the nature of litigation that it can cause a trainee's life to be very dull but an effort is always made to make sure you get a variety of work in each department."
