When did you join RWEST?

What rotations have you done during your time on the graduate scheme?

I started in Continental Power Risk. I then moved to a team where we run the pwer plants and look at intraday trading and dispatch optimisation. Currently I am on the US Power and Gas trading desk.

Why did you choose RWEST?

I wanted my work to be related to energy and trading…. RWEST simply offered the best package!

What has been the highlight of your grad scheme?

Trading in the Intraday market, visiting the different power plants and being able to learn from extremely smart and friendly colleagues every day.

What is it like working at RWEST?

I think it is the perfect mixture of being challenged every day and at the same time being given the time to learn and grow.

Why would you recommend  RWEST to candidates?

If you really want to learn more about the energy market and the related trading activities there is no better place to start. RWEST will support you along the way and challenge you to be the best you can possibly be. I have not regretted joining the programme for one second. I think that speaks for itself.

What do you enjoy about your role?

The huge advantage of the graduate programme is obviously to be able to get a deeper insight into various departments and to meet different people. I think this, in addition to excellent training for all graduates is what I enjoy most about my role.
