DDI Software has traditionally built all it software using a fat client development environment. In recent years it has started to leverage modern web technologies in delivering its technology solutions. The business has two flagship products that it sells into the financial sector. The Ascent Customer Relationship Management System and the callCent Telephony System. The Ascent CRM is built entirely using a fat client application development environment. DDI has identified that the Ascent CRM is starting to look dated and is being challenged by the modern distributed working environment. With this in mind DDI has taken the decision to start moving the product on to a thin client, web based platform. The first stage of this move will be the redevelopment of the “Account Manager” screen. DDI’s Managing Director will be heading up this project and will be supported by a Graduate Software Developer.
You will be exposed and trained in a diverse array of web and client technologies which will be leveraged to deliver the web based “Account Manager” screen. You will also be exposed to all parts of the day to day business in DDI and will interact with clients and the rest of the DDI team to help the business deliver across all requirements.
This project is a unique opportunity for a graduate to expose themselves to a wide range of technologies in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
