The Supply Chain Placement
With 18,000 products in our 400 stores, a click and collect service that allows customers to pick up most items from a store within five minutes, and guaranteed next day delivery on all products seven days a week, our supply chain needs to be world-class. Luckily, it is. Which means we trust them to make their own decisions. You’ll decide which products are allocated to which stores, based on previous sales and business intelligence. Relationships must be built and maintained with internal teams and external suppliers to reach the final goal, ensuring that our customers are being provided with a top notch service.
The skills you need
Without wishing to state the obvious, you’ll need to love retail. In fact, you’ll need to be bubbling with enthusiasm in general. We’re looking for creative, ambitious people, who are honest and reliable. Oh and you’ll need to be used to hard-work too. You’re a problem solver who just makes things happen! Your strong communication skills mean building relationships is second nature. You love working with Excel and predicting what needs to happen next and you’re brimming with motivation, drive and ability to learn quickly.
