The Buying Placement

New products are the lifeblood of our business. We already have over 18,000, and we’re constantly evolving our offering. You’ll move straight into the fast lane, as you build relationships with suppliers across the UK, Europe and beyond, developing new opportunities and new markets. Things move fast here, so we don’t believe in red tape and hierarchy. You’ll ensure that the correct information flows between your team and other departments. From forwarding information between Market Managers and stores to coordinating the exchange of information between the departments, you’ll guarantee fluidity and reliability of information about your category.

The skills you need

Without wishing to state the obvious, you’ll need to love retail. In fact, you’ll need to be bubbling with enthusiasm in general. We’re looking for creative, ambitious people, who are honest and reliable. Oh and you’ll need to be used to hard-work too. Organisation is key! We’re looking for someone who is responsive and adaptable, reacting quickly in unexpected situations and offering effective solutions. You’ll love working on your own initiative, where you can undertake and trigger your own actions to achieve results. A massive team player you’ll be known for your interpersonal skills and insight and will always strive to deliver results. Although we’re not looking for someone who is a whizz on Excel we do need someone who understands the basics and is proficient on MS Office. We also need someone with analytical skills as you will be responsible for the administration of the commercial data for the Market Director and Market Manager.
