"We do get SPG strategy training, which is in modelling and using different database software. However, we don't have a formal training programme like most grad schemes. This is due to the nature of strategy and not the company."
Graduate, London
"There's a six-week intense software engineering boot camp. I learned agile, the foundations of programming, and testing among other things."
Graduate, London
"I got this job through a free programming course that Sky created to get more women into tech. The company then started off the grad scheme by educating us for five weeks. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for that training."
Graduate, Osterley
"I received five weeks of initial classroom training about all the aspects of being a developer. The focus was on agile, Java, DevOps and complicated database stuff."
Graduate, Leeds
"Training is on the job and I am encouraged to sign up for as many training courses as I can find."
Graduate, London
"Training has been fairly informal. I've done a lot of shadowing and been put in with other teams to understand how their business functions work."
Marketing, Graduate, Osterley
"Understanding Sky is an amazing initiative that allows us to understand the different departments that Sky has. Additionally, we are working towards the ISEB qualification for business analysts."
Graduate, Livingston
