"Training was very much 'on the job' and made a lot of use of shadowing, with only initial and basic/common tasks being specifically demonstrated and explained. Documentation was lacking (although improving documentation for the role was a specific part of my being hired). I've not been on any training programmes, although the willingness to send me on some if required/appropriate has been shown. I mostly learned about how to use macs, as well as iPad management."Midlevel, Exeter
"The training has been perfect for the level of work I'm doing right now."Graduate, Exeter
"I have received all the training and coaching I require in excellent formats."Midlevel, Exeter
"I haven't received much in the way of formal training, it's very hard to teach what I do except through experience. Informal training is constant and ongoing though. I've developed stronger interpersonal skills, time management and technical skills."Content Scientist, Exeter
"A lot of the learning has been hands-on, in-house learning. Sparx changes so rapidly that traditional training courses are almost meaningless. You dive in and ask questions, and people are willing to answer and help you learn. Really, it's all one big learning curve that never ends. And that's brilliant."Sparx Content Scientist, Exeter
"The training programme was good but the role and company is developing so quickly that it is impossible to cover everything. There is constant on-the-job learning as roles and responsibilities change."Content Scientist, Exeter
