Graduate Trainee New Home Sales Executive

The housebuilding arm of an established property development organisation based in Oxfordshire is seeking a graduate to join their expanding team as a Trainee Sales Executive. This position is being offered as a paid graduate internship for 12 weeks with a view to ongoing permanent employment on successful completion.

As a newly established housebuilder, a graduate placement here will provide an unique opportunity to build a role within the founding team of this rapidly expanding business, offering exposure to the Directors, as well as fantastic career progression. By focusing on the development of the individual community, as well as the housing stock that is provided, they have a distinctive approach to housebuilding that is earning the company a reputation for innovation in the industry. The role

We’re looking for a confident and personable Trainee Sales Executive to join a small and busy sales team at our housing development site in North Oxfordshire. You will be introduced to the sales process and will support the sales team in meeting customers, guiding them through the specification of properties and assisting with the purchasing and handover process. 
This is an exciting time to join the business, with a number of phases of high quality homes coming forward over the next 12 months. 

Skills and Qualifications

A graduate from any discipline with a minimum 2:2 classification, you will be a quick learner, with a positive energy and a passion for great customer service. Strong verbal and written communication are key, as is some experience in a customer facing role. An interest in the housebuilding industry in general will also be advantageous.

The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential, as are excellent listening skills, adapting your communication style to suit individuals and different media. You will also have experience of Microsoft Office packages and be confident and capable in utilising IT systems, as effective management of the onsite database is key to the role.

Weekend working and flexibility is a requirement, as is a full driving license. 

Situated near J10 of the M40 this role is within a commutable distance from Bicester, Banbury, Brackley, Oxford and surrounding areas.
