"Our office is in a beautiful grade 2 listed historic City landmark but inside is a very chic and modern atrium. Our location is opposite Moorgate tube station and a short walk from Liverpool Street station so it couldn't be better for a City law firm. The dress code is business smart but people aren't too fussy about formality unless you have a meeting with a client or are going to court."

"The location is wonderful though our IT facilities could definitely be improved. The dress code is smart casual and there is no dress down Friday, although fee earners are quite relaxed about the dress code in practice, as long as it's sensible."
Second year trainee, London
"The office is outstanding. The dress code is formal but most people do not wear ties."

"Our offices are really impressive. We're set in a converted Lutyens building with marbled staircases and a huge glass atrium. The café is not so great and shuts quite early, but the toilets are probably the cleanest in the City."
Second year trainee, London
"It's a good location with modern offices and good facilities. The dress code is fairly casual if you don't have client meetings."

"The offices are beautiful and run very smoothly. We have great shower facilities and decent food. The dress code is smart and, while we don't really have dress down Friday, men tend not to wear ties unless meeting clients etc."

"The London office is the biggest office and it has an amazing location and facilities. The dress code is not too strict unless there is a client meeting or you're going to court. However, no one ever comes in jeans, which I think is reasonable. The Dubai office is a bit smaller but we are in the midst of a move to bigger offices."

"The firm is in an excellent location, just behind Moorgate station and in the centre of the City. The facilities and office space are also excellent."

"Our office is a Grade I listed, marble clad building kitted out in steel and glass; you feel pretty cool walking into the office. It is also in a fantastic location with great transport links. The café/restaurant is decent."

"Offices are very light, comfortable and clean."

"Great offices. Bright, open, lovely glass lifts, marble staircase, and plush entrance. Many people who visit the firm are impressed by its surroundings and decor. Good facilities too. We have showers and lockers in the basement, a dry cleaners on the ground floor, and a nice view of Finsbury Circus. Dress code is smart business casual - shirt and trousers is sufficient on most days. It depends on the practice group."

"The firm's offices are new and very nice. There are shower and changing room facilities for those who need to use them; the location in Moorgate is convenient for commuting, eating, attending court. The dress code is smart but a tie is generally not needed unless attending meetings/court."

"The office is brilliant and conveniently located by Moorgate station. The firm has a smart office dress code."

"The new office is lovely, really impressive for clients."

"Stephenson Harwood has only moved to its new office space within the last few years. The new offices are fantastic: there is a lot of space and it is all very new with excellent facilities. The dress code is formal: as one would expect for a London mid-ranking City firm!"
Second year trainee, London
"Relatively formal dress code, men always in suits (some no tie) woman more formal office clothes. The office is great - good temperature and great location."
First year trainee, London
"Good central location - Moorgate has most necessary amenities. Good-looking offices and spacious. No bedrooms which is always a good thing. Changing rooms in the basement. No gym. Rooms are spacious and equipment tailored/ordered to make sure it's comfortable. Dress code is business/casual."
First year trainee, London
"Really lovely offices in a nice location in Finsbury Circus. Dress code is smart."
Second year trainee, London
"Dress code - business (i.e. suit but no tie except for meetings) five days a week. Offices - great location and look pretty cool outside and in. Will be better once the Crossrail building sites are done."
Second year trainee, London
"Wonderful new offices, with lots of space. Moorgate has good transport links, however shops/bars/restaurants are a little sparse. The dress code is smart, however female trainees tend not to wear suits."
