Graduate Test Engineer

The role:

As a Graduate Test Engineer, you will be joining our London team. This is a permanent role where you will be trained and responsible for the following:

  • Testing all aspects of the product, system, component, performance, regression and service.
  • Working with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management
  • Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, and developing test cases, scenarios, usage cases.
  • Test automation which involves using tools and frameworks to write automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java, C#, Ruby etc.
  • Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and reporting
  • Understanding functional requirements and scope of the project.
  • Working in Waterfall and Agile model.

About you:

You’ll have the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 2:1 or equivalent in computer science or related field
  • Customer focused and always thriving to understand and exceed client expectation and requirements
  • Some familiarity with any of the following: OOPS programming (C#, Java), SQL, web methods development, Kafka
  • Awareness of UI development (HTML, Java script)
  • Some knowledge of Automation frameworks
  • Some understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Highly engaged, innovative and possess good critical thinking skills
  • Highly collaborative and team focoused

Your work location:

You will be based in London, UK for the duration of this contract.
