Graduate Desktop support Engineer

The role:

As a Graduate desktop support engineer you will be joining our team in London, where you will be trained and responsible for the following:

  • Desktop support including:
    • Laptop Build, user allocation
    • Hardware Support and call Logging with Vendors
    • Data recovery
    • Internal customer service and point of contact on emails
    • Queue Monitoring, Validation, Approval, Follow-ups, Tracking
  • Supporting remote users, Mac OS and SOE Troubleshooting
  • Supporting on emails including Lotus Notes, O365, MS outlook
  • Asset inventory and tracking, disposal and audio-visual support
  • This role requires you to work some weekend and out of hours shifts

About you:

You’ll have the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 2:1 or equivalent in computer science degree
  • Excellent Logical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Some knowledge on windows 7 and windows 10, Architecture knowledge of physical and virtual infrastructure,
  • Ability to work some weekend and shift patterns
  • Familiarity with computer hardware would be advantageous

Your work location:

You will be based in London, UK for the duration of this contract.
