"There's lots of training at the beginning of each new seat as well as two weeks of training at the start of the training contract. The networking session is only one example of the non-legal training that the firm offers for trainees."

"At the beginning of each seat, the departments organise trainee boot-camps and introductions to the department. A new qualifier boot-camp is run every September too. There are ongoing training sessions for all levels across the firm, not just for trainees. We also have ad hoc skills sessions as well, such as networking, presentation and delegation. Project management training is also being offered to certain levels."

Second year trainee, London
"There is department specific training for trainees provided at each seat move, and there are also regular sessions and seminars for fee earners at all levels, which we are encouraged to go to. For instance, these can be on case law developments or background on other practice areas which feed into your own. Trainees undertake the professional skills course in stages over the two year period."

First year trainee, London
"We have some very thorough training programmes. Non-contentious seats have a kind of 'boot camp' at the beginning of your seat, and with contentious seats you are trained throughout your seat."
First year trainee, london
"Training is well-structured and trainees are given a lot of support from the Graduate Recruitment team. Good benefit is the focus on business development and networking, which is extremely important for career progression."
