We run 2 graduate programmes depending on skill set and where your area of study fits within our business. Our general programme is a 2 year rotational scheme divided into 4 separate 6 month placements, where you will spend time in all areas of the Taylor Wimpey business including: production, commercial, technical, sales and marketing, customer service, land and finance. Three of the roles within our general scheme will focus on specific business projects in the second year of the scheme.
We also have a specific finance graduate programme, lasting 3 years and which provides a great opportunity for those completing a finance related degree looking to secure their first role in a FTSE 100 business whilst training towards their professional finance qualification.
You will participate in an exciting development programme including management and leadership training whilst gaining ‘hands on’ experience in all aspects of the business. Working alongside some of the most experienced people in our business this is a fantastic opportunity to join a FTSE 100 house builder that focuses its efforts on people development, sustainability, customer service, commercial performance and build quality
Following successful completion of the programme, we would expect you to progress in your career to one of the following business areas; production, commercial, technical, sales & marketing, land, customer service or finance.
We aim to equip ambitious, talented and determined individuals to achieve a director role within a 5-year timescale. Senior leaders within the business will monitor your progress and you will be supported in achieving professional and/or other appropriate qualifications if required.
