What it’s like to work in this area
In our Customer team we create iconic brands and bring them to life. We engage with the nation every single day, through one of our 3,000 stores, social media channels, our owned media and through the more traditional methods of newspapers and TV. From Christmas to Valentine’s, or Ramadan to Halloween, we guide the business by talking to the right people, in the right way, at the right time. It’s fast-paced, creative and exciting.
We understand our customers in the same way as we understand our interns and want to make a positive difference to their lives. As an intern you will experience working with some of the UK’s biggest agencies on campaigns, newspaper adverts, the latest store opening, in-store point of sale and social media campaigns. By moving around the Marketing team, you will gain valuable experience of marketing for the UK’s largest retailer.
What you will be doing
Life as an intern in customer is diverse and no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to work with agencies, meet customers and interact with colleagues across the business. Within the ten weeks that you’re here with us, there will be the chance to develop your skills in lots of different areas, from project management and stakeholder engagement, to creative thinking and presentation techniques.
