This is a supply chain graduate hiring campaign. But what is supply chain?
It’s the chain of events that gets things from one place to the next, eventually landing in your hands.
That means everything you own, from technology, to food, to clothes, has gone through raw materials, suppliers, manufacturing, distribution and recycling to end up as a product that you use. Now, the supply chain world is dramatically changing. With growing awareness around the environment, consumers want more ethical choices and supply chain needs new technologies, better processes, smarter packaging and TOP TALENT to build the circular economy of the future.
A career in supply chain might mean you’re responsible for negotiating with suppliers, analysing consumer data to predict future demand, streamlining manufacturing processes and transport networks, or building IT systems that connect the whole supply chain together.
What to expect:
If we like your CV, we’ll introduce ourselves. The first step is a free personality profile and access to The Grad Pod website. This gives you tons of information about all the clients and roles we are representing. You‘ll then need to complete your first and second mission, and if you qualify, we’ll cut through the noise and present you straight to decision makers in all 30 companies.
What we are looking for:
Although supply chain careers are open to all degree types, some roles do require vocational subjects such as engineering, maths, data science or business management. Here are typical words that describe successful supply chain professionals:
- Problem solver
- Commercially aware
But we don’t just want supply chain leaders of the future, we need WORK READY grads chomping at the bit to hit the ground running in their career. That means, we also need people who are:
- Ready to deliver
- Proactive and Curious
If this sounds like you, apply today! We’d love to see your CV, but you can also send us anything else that you think will help you stand out from the crowd.
Companies signed up to this scheme are expecting us to present successful candidates from July through to September, so you can expect to progress quickly through the process.
We aim to get back to applicants within 72 hours. If you don’t get a response to your application within 2 weeks, unfortunately, we won’t be progressing you forward at this time. However, there will be varying levels of feedback provided throughout this project for candidates in process.
