What will I be doing?
Technology touches everything from the sourcing and distribution of sustainable ingredients to the marketing, measurement and selling of our brands on platforms like Facebook, Twitter and partner websites.
You could be working with our technology partners like Microsoft, Salesforce and SAP, driving the delivery of a Global Programme or working with niche technology start-ups and industry innovators to solve business and sustainability challenges. What do we look for?
You don’t need a technical qualification to join BTM, but a genuine passion for business, brands and technology is a must. It takes a mix of analytical insight and creative business thinking to succeed: ours is a culture that encourages innovative entrepreneurship. If you’re ambitious and excited by the most recent technological developments and like to think strategically about how their value could be harnessed on a global scale, this is for you.
What will the programme involve?
The three-year, world-class development programme is packed with variety and challenge, leading you through to your first managerial position. Through hands-on learning alongside world-class experts, you’ll develop your individual leadership skills by working on live projects that offer you all the experience you need to become ready for your first management role. Over three years, you’ll take on a variety of roles, be that business partnering, developing technology strategies, landing solutions in our markets or working outside of the technology function, to learn more about our broad organisation. There’s also the possibility of working internationally on a placement. You’ll get hands on experience with real problems, from the Innovation team to Services, from changing the way Magnum is stored to collaborating with a digital agency to create a new gaming platform. First-hand experience – it’s the fastest way to learn. Bear in mind that your rotations could be based at different business units across Europe.
