"Weil has established many committees to deal with the aim of increasing diversity in the firm. Although more could be done, it is definitely something that is being addressed."

"In terms of diversity there are a variety of committees and good maternity leave provision."
Second year trainee, London
"I have seen the firm being very accommodating surrounding paternity leave, and there are lots of diversity initiatives ongoing throughout the firm."
Second year trainee, London
"We have a number of initiatives and groups set up to deal with diversity issues, so the firm are showing commitment to the cause."

"The firm has very good diversity policies, and this is particularly true of the current trainees and junior associates. For instance, the recent vacation schemes have shown that the firm is receiving applications from and offering opportunities to a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and nationalities. In my view, the firm shows a great level of respect to women, ethnic minorities and those from the LGBT community. I have several colleagues who are homosexual, who have commented on the fact that they don't perceive themselves to be treated differently in any way and enjoy working in such an open atmosphere."
