WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff

Graduate Development Programme – Project Management

What you’ll be doing

Graduate Project Managers at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff have the opportunity to get involved in contract management, cost and commercial management, planning and project controls, and risk management. Our Major Project Services team has provided expertise on landmark projects such as London Bridge Station, The Mall of Egypt (featuring an indoor snow park), Crossrail, Bond Street Station, Zayed National Museum (Abu Dhabi), and the Leadenhall Building as well as numerous other projects both in the UK and internationally.

All in a day’s work

We asked our graduates what it’s like to do their job. On a day to day basis, the life of a graduate at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff starts off in the morning with cups of tea and responding to any urgent client emails.
Beyond that, anything could happen! You could get involved in report writing, modelling or design calculations in 3D software packages. Your day could also involve visiting site and liaising with contractors, discussing options for concept designs with colleagues, responding to client requests for information or meetings with the team about the scope and progress of projects.

Naturally, there is a lot to learn and you are likely to be guided through complex software packages, team briefings and client updates from the start. There may even be time for cake.

It may also be helpful to know that we have arranged for some of our graduates to attend our assessment centres where they can tell you more about their typical day and what it’s like to be a graduate at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.
