About CAPS International Institute

CAPS (Conversation Assistant Programme for Schools) is a programme designed to place native English speakers in Spanish schools as a Conversation Assistant (CA), in order to aid, improve teaching and student communication in English.

The company has been successfully running for eight years, and has established itself as a leader in the industry. Over 1800 Conversation Assistants have successfully completed the programme in more than 400 Spanish schools. The CAPS programme is organised by CAPS Home to Home, which is a Spanish company founded by an English Director. It has become a renowned company in the field of education, and has over 20 years of experience in organising a wide range of educational programmes in English. The office is a dynamic environment with multilingual staff from all over the world.

The Programme

The CAPS programme lasts for one academic school year. We are looking for committed, young, dynamic and creative people who are ready to take on a life changing experience helping improve the level of English in a Spanish school by committing to 25 classroom hours per week.

Each assistant will receive a generous monthly allowance and training with a FREE 150 hour TEFL course which is provided by a Spanish university.

A unique part of the CAPS Programme is that each assistant lives with a host family. This means that each assistant has a warm, safe & authentic first-hand cultural experience.

Also family accommodation removes a considerable amount of financial pressure when living and working abroad. Meals, laundry and transport to and from the school are all covered, leaving you free to spend your monthly allowance as you wish.

Applicants could be current students or recent graduates with clear future goals to achieve, whilst others may still be undecided on what their future holds. The CAPS programme offers everybody the opportunity to enhance their CV and more.
