Working with Go-Ahead has given me a wide variety of exciting opportunity, allowing me to develop my technical capabilities and leadership skills.
I began my scheme with frontline operational experience in bus driving, service control and service delivery. This enabled me to later step into the role of Route Manager where I lead a team of professional drivers and was accountable for the service performance of a select group of bus routes.
My next role was Assistant Project Manager of Oxford’s Demand Responsive Transport service, PickMeUp. My responsibility was to drive the implementation program of a new and innovative transport concept. Working with stakeholders, hosting team meetings and resourcing all elements to build the service were just some of my daily tasks within this role.
My operational experience combined with project leadership throughout my graduate programme has provided me with the platform to join the international bid team in Perth, Australia. Here I was appointed as the project lead for developing a Demand Responsive proposal for the Public Transport Authority in Western Australia
