"The training is less structured than at some other firms. However, this means you get thrown into real work straight away and very much learn on the job, which is great."

"There is no set training programme but there are talks etc that we are encouraged to attend and there are also options for joining online IT training sessions. Informal training can also be requested and is generally well received and encouraged. Teams often organise their own training sessions on topical issues, which is helpful."

"The training programmes at our firm are slightly less structured than they would be at a Magic Circle firm. My understanding of this is that it's because we spend a lot of our time doing actual work and learning on the job, rather than sitting in a classroom. I find the former method far more effective and don't think I would glean as much knowledge from taking notes in a lecture room."
