"I am aware that the recruitment team are working hard on addressing this at the moment and are looking at implementing an entry level apprenticeship, especially once the legal apprenticeship route formally comes into effect from this Autumn. Penningtons looks beyond the very best universities, (even by looking at Leeds, where I went, they were widening their search more than some London firms do), which I think does give those from less privileged backgrounds more of a chance. Once a training contract is offered, they pay a maintenance award for the LPC year and fund the LPC itself."
