About Softwire

Softwire is a dynamic and successful London-based software house with over 150 employees. We’ve created the best possible environment to produce outstanding software and deliver unmatched customer satisfaction, and we attract more top graduates from UK universities than any other company our size.

We work with a huge variety of organisations, from small start-ups to household names like the BBC and Google DeepMind. We look for projects which push boundaries and expand our expertise. Our technology-agnostic approach means our developers are multi-skilled and become comfortable working in a range of languages and environments.

We hire the brightest people, regardless of background, give them great training, remunerate them well, and provide plenty of opportunities for them to give back to their local and not so local communities. Our employees will tell you that Softwire is a truly great – and totally unique – place to work, with a genuinely relaxed and friendly environment and frequent social events and outings. And that’s why we have featured in the top 25 of the Sunday Times Best Companies list in each of the past nine years, usually as the top ranked software company.

Softwire is growing year on year and you will grow with us, learning from your colleagues, absorbing a diverse range of technologies and pursuing the type of work which interests you most. We believe in letting you get on with your job so you will enjoy responsibility and autonomy from the start. We fill senior roles almost exclusively from within so there are many opportunities for advancement.  Most of our staff stay with us for years, becoming technical leads, project managers, technical consultants – or just truly fantastic developers.

Our London graduate starting salary is £40,000 and, since we believe that everyone should enjoy the benefits of our joint efforts, 50% of our profits are distributed to staff as bonus every year.
