"If you get the work done then hours are fairly flexible. However, I have colleagues in other teams who say this isn't the case for them."

"The mantra at TCS is that if you complete the work in time, that is all that matters. How you go about it (eg working from home or at the office) is more flexible. It does depend on your team and their choices but, in marketing, you can often work from home on Fridays if you've given notice to your manager."
Mid level, London
"My employer is very flexible with hours but the price is often very long hours! I am often working until 1.00 am."
Mid level, Rotherham/ Liverpool & London
"Working hours are not an issue but, if you want to be competitive, you will have to spend extra hours at work."
Graduate, London
"I feel I have a really good work/life balance."
Graduate, Warrington, UK
"Our current project manager is very understanding with flexible hours and, as long as I work my 40 hours in the week, she is happy. If required I can come in an hour early and leave an hour early with no issues."
Entry level, Warwick
"The company is usually flexible with hours and tries its best to accommodate your circumstances. I work from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm but others may work 7.00 am to 3.00 pm, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm or 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm etc. This is dependent on your job role."
