About Toyota Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd

Toyota’s world renowned philosophy, values and culture have made us a global leader in manufacturing. Our uncompromising commitment to quality, innovation and design, means our people have to be the best trained and motivated in the industry.

We have a workforce of approximately 3,400 employees who work at one of our two Plants in the UK.

Toyota Manufacturing (UK) Ltd manufacture the Auris and Auris Hybrid Synergy Drive (HSD) vehicles, for the UK Market and global export.

We continuously challenge the way we work and central to our ethos is our belief that no process is ever perfect. We call it kaizen – which roughly translates from Japanese as “continuous improvement”. We believe that no process can ever be declared perfect; that there’s always a better way. It’s part of the reason we’ve been at the front of automotive manufacture for more than 80 years. We’re constantly moving forward, developing our processes, our products and, of course, our people.

What it means for you...

We place great emphasis on learning by doing, so you’ll find yourself working on real projects with support from managers and a mentor. You’ll be part of a company that’s always looking to the next challenge, with managers whose role is to make sure you’re continually learning. After all, it’s only through our people’s determination today that we’ll keep progressing tomorrow.

What we look for…

We're looking for individuals who will share our values and believe that there's always a better way. So, if you thrive on analysing problems from different angles to develop solutions and take a practical approach to your work, you could go a long way with us.
