Thames Water
We're the UK's biggest water company with nine million customers relying on us every day to provide them with drinking water and waste services. We also clean and treat the wastewater of a further six million customers before returning it to the natural environment. This is a huge responsibility and meets the needs of almost a quarter of the UK's population.
We're also at the forefront of innovation in our industry - we've just completed construction of the deepest tunnel in London and every day we create enough renewable energy to power a city the size of Oxford.
We are protectors of the natural environment and our biodiversity team manage nature reserves and habitats across London and the Thames Valley. We also used recycled wastewater for irrigation and toilets across the Olympic Park, helping to make London 2012 the greenest Games ever.
As a graduate you will have a range of opportunities to get involved in everything we do, including helping us raise £500,000 each year for charity. You can make a big impact with us, not just for our customers but for those around the world who are really in need. We're constantly striving to do things better for our customers, our people and the environment. Join us on this journey and enjoy a real sense of satisfaction as you work with dedicated people who tirelessly deliver an outstanding service that's at the heart of daily life. We offer challenging, stimulating and rewarding opportunities across an incredible variety of disciplines and locations.
We're committed to creating the future leaders of Thames Water. With us you'll get the opportunity to gain real management experience and professional qualifications in a company where you can personally make a difference.
Our Engineering leadership development programme is unique and offers you the chance to learn and develop with a view to one day being a future leader of Thames Water with Chartership.
You would be placed in our Waste water area of the business as part of the programme where there are a lot of exciting opportunities to experience and you could be based anywhere across our Thames Valley region; from Reading to Swindon to East London and anywhere in-between.
We will look at your strengths and qualifications throughout the whole recruitment process and place you into the area we think you will best succeed.
Throughout the programme you will rotate around your business area (and outside it potentially) to build your knowledge and develop as a great leader in our business. You will have support from the managers and mentors in your business area who will be your key contacts throughout the programme.
Our Learning and development team will also organise specially designed management development modules for you to attend, to ensure that we really give you all the tools you need to succeed.
We're looking for driven and agile Engineering graduates to join the team here, please apply today!

Much more relaxed atmosphere compared to any previous event I've attended which made it easier to build relationships with employers.

We have attended the Future Female Engineering event for a number of years now; it is a great opportunity for employers to meet with interested and motivated female engineering students. Throughout the event students have the opportunity to get to know their preferred employers, hear what is like to be a graduate in the company and also gain helpful hints and tips on the application process. The event is a great opportunity for students and employers to network across a number of informal and fun sessions!

Speaking to graduates and recruiters in such a relaxing environment was such an insightful opportunity- so many of my questions were answered, even those I didn't know I had.

Great experience that really opened my eyes into what impact females can make within engineering.

It was delightful to see so many high calibre female engineering students who had made the effort to research our company and prepare questions for the networking session. The event was very well organised, informative and fun. This is our third year attending the event and we look forward to getting involved again next year.
National Grid
A thoroughly enjoyable event, with very intelligent and driven students. The students are from a mixture of years so proved great for our current and future pipeline, and company branding. You also walk away with the details of circa 100 top quality students, so a very unique event.
AECOM
Everything was great, the overall vibe puts you in a good mood and even if you come in scared and unsure about what to do, that quickly goes away.

It has made me realise that engineering is quite an open sector and that there is a lot of scope to enter a lot of areas.
