Taking place this year in person at The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, London, targetjobs is offering you the chance to attend the UK’s most established Pupillage Fair; meet chambers’ representatives, discover more about different sets and find the best match for you and your career.
The targetjobs National Pupillage Fair will be attended by some of the UK’s leading chambers, as well as course providers and Bar associations, and promises to be as popular as ever.

The targetjobs National Pupillage Fair hosts a series of talks on careers at the Bar every year. You do not need to pre-book to attend these talks, just arrive early and look out for signs on the day saying where these will be held. Full schedule to be announced soon!

Where is the fair being held?

The fair is being held at The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, where the nearest tube stations are Holborn or Chancery Lane. Please enter via the main entrance which is located on the south east corner of Lincoln's Inn Fields. We do recommend using public transport to get to the fair as parking is very limited and can be expensive.

What is your Covid-19 policy?

The targetjobs National Pupillage Fair is planning a safe return. Our commitment is to ensure the event is as safe as possible, working in and above the lines of legal expectation, with the co-operation of all who attend. Everyone who attends the event is being encouraged to be either double vaccinated or for people that haven’t been vaccinated to have taken a negative lateral flow test before attending. At the venue there will be one-way systems in process and whilst mask wearing is no longer mandatory, we are asking that you respect other attendees who may wish to adopt a more cautious approach.

How do I find out about the talks programme?

The targetjobs National Pupillage Fair hosts a series of talks on careers at the Bar every year. The talks programme is always very popular and spaces are limited so make sure you arrive early. If you don’t manage to see any of the talks, don’t worry; they will be available online after the fair on our YouTube channel. You do not need to pre-book to attend these talks, just arrive early and look out for signs on the day saying where these will be held. Full schedule to be announced soon!

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Please bring a copy of your confirmation email from Eventbrite. A pen and a notebook, as this is your chance to get as much information as possible. Be sure to write down as much as you can. You are more than welcome to bring copies of your CV along to the fair, but please bear in mind that stand representatives are not there to advise you on layout or content.

Will refreshments be available?

There will not be refreshments available at Lincoln's Inn, however there are a number of places nearby to grab a drink or snack.

What should I wear?

There is no specific dress code, but we would recommend that you dress to impress; after all, you could be meeting a future employer at the fair.
