The fair is being held at The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, where the nearest tube stations are Holborn or Chancery Lane. Please enter via the main entrance which is located on the south east corner of Lincoln's Inn Fields. We do recommend using public transport to get to the fair as parking is very limited and can be expensive.
The targetjobs National Pupillage Fair is planning a safe return. Our commitment is to ensure the event is as safe as possible, working in and above the lines of legal expectation, with the co-operation of all who attend. Everyone that attends the event will EITHER have to show proof of being double vaccinated (via the NHS app) or a COVID passport (these can be applied for at: NHS COVID Pass – NHS (www.nhs.uk) OR for people who haven’t been vaccinated we would require proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test (within 24 hours of the event start time), logged with the NHS result service. (www.gov.uk/report-covid19-resultk). At the venue there will also be one way systems in process and whilst mask wearing is no longer mandatory we are asking that you respect other attendees who may wish to adopt a more cautious approach.
Keep visiting the the website where new exhibitors will be added.
The targetjobs National Pupillage Fair hosts a series of talks on careers at the Bar every year. The talks programme is always very popular and spaces are limited so make sure you arrive early. If you don’t manage to see any of the talks, don’t worry; they will be available online after the fair on our YouTube channel. You do not need to pre-book to attend these talks, just arrive early and look out for signs on the day saying where these will be held. Full schedule to be announced soon!
Please bring a copy of your confirmation email from Eventbrite. A pen and a notebook, as this is your chance to get as much information as possible. Be sure to write down as much as you can. You are more than welcome to bring copies of your CV along to the fair, but please bear in mind that stand representatives are not there to advise you on layout or content.
There will not be refreshments available at Lincoln's Inn, however there are a number of places nearby to grab a drink or snack.
There is no specific dress code, but we would recommend that you dress to impress; after all, you could be meeting a future employer at the fair.
