Are you a passionate and engaging individual who wants to be part of an exciting transformation project team within a world leading company? This opportunity plays a key role in providing accurate, timely and useful reporting on Business Transformation activity to ALUK and to the wider business.

The main elements of this role will cover:

  • Managing all aspects of Transformation activity reporting, analysis and forecasting, including ensuring all project and efficiency work is identified and reported accurately by project teams and is aligned with business plans and finance reporting processes.
  • Setting up and managing project governance and reporting framework, including project status reporting, gateway management and benefits realisation.
  • Setting up and managing Continuous Improvement activity reporting, working with the CI manager and teams to capture and measure activity and identify further opportunities.
  • Conducting data analysis to identify improvement opportunities, benefits, efficiency savings or performance gains (operational and financial) including making improvements to existing or building new reports and processes where required.
  • Providing analytical and project expertise to Programme and Project Managers.
  • Supporting Transformation communications and engagement initiatives.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong knowledge of Change Management techniques. The transformation team is a leader in change management and the role holder will be expected to work towards a level of expertise in this area (if not already possessed). Familiarity with continuous improvement tools, project management methodology, gateway management, PMO reporting, benefits reporting and realisation will be advantageous.
  • An analytical mind and attention to detail. The role holder will be expected to produce, check, issue and present accurate and timely reports across the business on a regular basis. Proficiency in spreadsheets and the use of data, including the ability to build and use dashboards (eg through Power BI) will be required. Experience in conducting investigative analysis to identify and quantify improvement opportunities and provide clarity around performance will be desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels. The role holder will be required to interact with individual project managers across the business as well as board level heads of department so the ability to quickly establish constructive relationships is a must.
  • A Proactive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to work. The role holder will be expected to demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement at all times, bringing positivity and a can-do attitude to challenging situations. An ability to manage own timetable, be flexible and react appropriately to changes in focus are all required to provide resilience in the role.
  • A full driving licence is essential due to travel and meeting commitments.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management related subject.

Additional information

The role will be based at Coleshill with travel to other ALUK/Energas sites. Working hours are flexible, to be organised by the role holder in conjunction with the Line Manager and driven by work requirements.

ALLEX Programme Information

ALLEX means "Air Liquide Leading Excellence" and it is a program for graduates with 0-3 years work experience.

The aim of the program is to accelerate your career at Air Liquide by giving you the opportunity to work in a full-time position and complete two projects (3 months each) abroad during your first year in the company. These two international assignments are designed to challenge and develop you both professionally and personally.
