Working in Finance at Arcadia is not just about number crunching; it plays a vital role in the commercial management of our business. Spread throughout our offices in London and Leeds, the Finance teams bring budgets, forecasts and trading reports together for Group consolidation as well as having responsibility for all accounting processes, including payroll and accounts payable.
What you'll be doing
Extract & interpret data to measure the success of the business
Play a key part in planning & delivering monthly actuals and reforecasting i.e. including setting up monthly meetings, posting accruals and prepayments, analysing variances between actuals and forecasts & maintaining all forecast & cost schedules
Support finance team on current initiatives
Business partnering areas of the business to support in key decision making
Produce weekly and monthly reporting in a timely and accurate manner, updating the Finance Manager on key highlights and trends
Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties as and when required

Commercial awareness and a passion for retail
Numerical and analytical skills, with problem-solving ability
The ability to be proactive and adaptable within a fast-paced, dynamic environment susceptible to change
Good organisation and time management
Attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy with financial and statistical data
Business partnering - Strong communication skills especially with non-finance colleagues
Team working ability and a respectful approach to colleagues
Technical abilities require the competent use of a PC with Basic Excel skills
Desire to gain a recognised accountancy qualification
