Degree requirements: Obtained or working towards 2.2 degree or above in project management or a degree in any subject for those who can demonstrate commercial or technical acumen. We’ll sponsor your MSc on a day release basis if you don’t have a degree in a relevant subject.
Working as a Project Manager you will form an integral part of our established team of project and Programme Management practitioners and will be supported in all aspects of your career development. Our Project Managers are involved in some of the world’s most prestigious and complex projects, requiring meticulous planning to ensure successful delivery to our clients and stakeholders. You will work in a wide variety of industry sectors and will develop your skills on a multitude of projects, learning from some of the best professionals in the world. As a Graduate Project Manager in Faithful+Gould, you’ll:
- Be working directly with clients to achieve their goals, this may include assisting clients in developing the strategy for their project or programme.
- Managing multidisciplinary project teams to turn ideas into tangible designs
- Managing projects onsite to help turn concepts into reality. This will require spending time in F+G’s offices, the client’s office or the client’s site.

Degree requirements; Achieved or on track to achieve a bachelor’s (2.1 or above) or masters (2.2 or above) in Business Management, Construction Project Management, Project Management, Physics, Maths, Data Science or any Engineering degree
Our innovative project management team ensure our transportation projects run smoothly. You’ll take care of everything from design, contracts and budgets, to purchasing and on-site construction. It’s a big job. But you’ll enjoy bringing everyone and everything together to deliver some of the largest and most interesting engineering projects in the transportation industry. You will also have opportunities to run small projects by yourself and ensure they are delivered on time and on budget. There’s an array of chances for you to develop your skillset, build up your experience and grow an impressive portfolio.
Transportation is involved in some of the most interesting design and engineering projects in the
rail industry. Providing an opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s leading engineers and gain
experience of being part of the project teams behind some of the Rail industry’s major infrastructure projects.
East West Rail, HS2 and M4 CANs are all projects that you could working on.
As a Graduate Project Manager in Transportation, you’ll:
- Share project information with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project deliverables under the direction of the Project Director and Project Managers to secure and measure progress
- Collect and input data in to project trackers and databases
- Attend Project Meetings
- Project cost analysis, monitoring cost and assessing earned value
- Assisting in the preparation of Project Management and Commercial Reports for the Senior Management Team
- Assisting in Work Package Management processes
- Work towards APM Chartership status
Nuclear and Power
Degree requirements; a minimum 2.2 Masters/MEng degree in an engineering, commercial, science or project management related subject.
We are the team that engineer, deliver, manage and decommission nuclear facilities worldwide, using the latest technology solutions to ensure the lights stay on and the world remains a safe place.
As a Graduate Project Manager in Nuclear and Power, you’ll:
- Be responsible for the delivery of projects to time, cost and quality primarily in the nuclear sector.
- Interface with internal clients such as the engineering teams and project support functions.
- Engage with external stakeholders such as client organisations, our delivery partners and our supply chains.
- Gain an understanding of and complying with our company processes and procedures.
- Monitor project performance and reporting of that to both internal management and client organisations using tools such as earned value management.
- You could also be tasked with leading and coordinating high quality, industry-leading bids. Some examples of clients you could be working for include Urenco UK, Sellafield Ltd and various nuclear new build organisations.
What are we looking for?
• Passion and understanding for working in a consultancy environment, with the ability to work with clients and internal stakeholders
• Drive to achieve Chartered status or become RICS accredited
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the confidence to work on your own initiative or as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to apply your technical knowledge to analyse problems and create innovative solutions
• An interest in developing digital and technology-based solutions
• A flexible approach to travel as our projects and training may take you to a variety of locations in the UK and possibly abroad
