Type of opportunity:
Adapting the way we visualise data has seen major growth within the industry over the last few years and we are no exception. As we move from terms like “User Interfaces” into “User Experiences”, this programme will build upon existing knowledge and turn that into real life experiences for the Marine enterprise.
Places on our Creative Technologies programme for Autumn 2020 are available in our Marine sector. You can experience placements across our UK business, as well as some of our international business areas. That’s why we ask all our graduates to be flexible and willing to move during their programme.
You’ll get stuck into the next generation of techniques for displaying the data and information we hold and capture. Turning our data interactive, you will be key in showing how making data accessible and available at your fingertips can change the way we support major assets.
Here you will join the digital revolution of our dockyards and assets, understanding and influencing how the journey to a Digital Dockyard looks along with the progressive programme that is aimed to deliver a Connected Platform.
When you’re playing such an important role, you need great support to develop. And that’s what you’re going to get. You’ll be assigned a mentor who’ll help you achieve professional status. And you’ll be starting on a competitive salary of £29k - £31k.
You’ll need a 2:2 BEng (Hons) degree or a 2:2 BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science or Creative Technologies. You’ll also need to satisfy the MOD’s security requirements (and may need to complete a medical assessment).
Competitive starting salary £29k - £31k
