Be part of a team responsible for the design, manufacture and support of a wide range of munitions products. Our portfolio is diverse, ranging from chemicals and materials to autonomous vehicles, software and systems, and you’ll formulate new materials, design features and functions and to ensure that we meet design tolerances and volume requirements on complex products.

You are responsible for the design, manufacture and support of a wide range of munitions products. This requires us to formulate new materials, design features and functions and to ensure that we have manufacturing processes able to meet design tolerances and volume requirements on complex products. We have a number of chemical processes and tests in use across our manufacturing sites. Our technology portfolio is diverse, ranging from chemicals and materials to autonomous vehicles, software and systems.

Follow your passion with the following responsibilities

Working as part of a team involved in the development, design and manufacture of propelling charges for new munitions products and maintaining performance of legacy products

  • Conducting manufacture, assembly and inspection of a variety of explosively filled stores with pyrotechnic and secondary explosive material
  • Conducting and analysing performance tests for energetic materials and chemical properties
  • Characterisation of materials for key physical and chemical properties
  • Report writing

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
