The Opportunity

Spend 9 weeks working on a real live business project with real responsibilities and give yourself a great head start in your career. These projects will involve collaborating with peers and wider stakeholders to deliver proposals on business challenges. Alongside this you will receive various technical and communication training sessions during your time at Centrica. You will be remotely based, with opportunities to spend time in our Windsor head office.

Diversity and Inclusion is at the heart of Centrica's Recruitment Policy

At Centrica, we want to attract a broad range of talent which reflects our customers in all their diversity. We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applications from individuals regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religions and/or beliefs. To read more about our commitment to Diversity and Inclusion, please see Our Culture page.

What the programme involves

Centrica is a leading energy, services, and solutions company. We keep millions of homes and businesses running and work hard to support the changing needs of our customers. Join us, on our Summer Placement programme, and you can gain real insight into life as one of our Commercial Analysts and discover how we use a wide range of sophisticated analytical activity to understand customer decision-making. During your placement you will be constantly developing your interpersonal skills with transferrable learnings such as stakeholder management and presentation styles.

There is a vast support network for you to tap into, including current and ex Graduates, as well as senior sponsors and project teams.

The programme will take a lot of hard work and initiative on your part. In return you’ll get to develop career-boosting skills and could earn yourself a place on our 2023 Graduate programme if you really stand out from the crowd.
