About the role and our team
We are seeking podiatrists to join our small and dedicated team on the Isle of Man.
You will be part of a highly motivated team, ensuring the provision of Integrated Care across the Island.
As part of this role, you will work as an Autonomous Practitioner as part of the wider Podiatry and multidisciplinary service, following evidence-based practice, providing assessment, diagnosis and secondary referral, and utilising expertise acquired through in-depth experience and post-registration training.
If you have strong clinical and professional skills, this could be the perfect role for you. You’ll work within a small team, who value support and continuing professional development.
This position is a Band 6 post, however, applications for Band 5 are welcome as a development opportunity.
What can this role offer me?
We offer a range of benefits in this role including:
- A generous relocation package
- Access to a vehicle for undertaking domiciliary visits
- Competitive salaries and annual leave
- Pension
- Free car parking at our sites
If you join as a Band 5 Podiatrist, you will have accelerated progression through the first two spine points in two six-monthly steps. This is known as a “Band 5 Annex T” development role.
You will work within a supportive team and organisation, who value support and continuing professional development with access to our in-house Learning, Education and Development Centres.
By joining us, you’ll be stepping away from NHS pressures and demands, as the Island’s healthcare system is similar but separate to the UK NHS.
Manx Care is committed to creating smoke-free spaces and is ‘proud to be smoke free’ as part of the overall Isle of Man Smoke Free 2030 ambition. As of April 1st 2021 smoking is no longer permitted on our Manx Care sites. For support and advice on abstinence from smoking, please contact Quit4You on 642404 or Quit4You@gov.im
