We are looking for an enthusiastic Credit Risk placement student to join our team specializing in Power Systems Finance for our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry, United Kingdom,During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Running of the global credit risk department including month end activities, Six Sigma, financial analysis, management reporting, business partnering, plus many more.

  • Perform credit-worthiness reviews on new and existing accounts, mitigating risk to the business

  • Analyses credit exposures and Prepare business unit credit reporting, planning, and forecasting
  • Prepare metrics analysis and consolidated credit reporting, as well as ad hoc credit analysis and reports to the business unit.

  • Develop an understanding of trade finance and credit management, Ensuring credit activities are in line with corporate credit policies and are Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliant.

  • Participate in working capital initiatives to drive Corporate metricsActive involvement and business partner support as well as support with scoping and completion of improvement projects (including 6 Sigma framework)

  • Represent the function when required to do so either with other parts of the organization or at various functions or events

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • studying towards a degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics or Business discipline.

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • A Team player with good interpersonal skills and a confident communicator at all levels
