Customer Engineering Support Placement Student
We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Engineering Support Placement Student to join our team on a 12 month placement commencing July/August 2022 specializing in Supporting Customer Engineering within CES (Cummins Emissions Solutions)and Engine Businessfor our Components Business Segment in Darlington. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Review New designs of Aftertreatment Applications both in the UK and Europe.
Supporting Customer Engineering within CES (Cummins Emission Solutions) and Engine Business.
Leading/assist Aftertreatment testing at Customers site. (as and when required)
Working closely with engine business current product and customer support teams.
Leads small projects or portions of large projects.
Involvement in the placement student team community involvement team planning charity and local community events.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Knowledge about Microsoft Office tools
Detailed knowledge of aftertreatment architecture, each catalysts function and controls.
Applies engineering and/or scientific skills to technical processes with assistance from experienced team members.
Participates as a team member, helps define/refine methods and actively contributes towards team goals.
Demonstrates good understanding and applies knowledge of an engineering discipline.
