HR Graduate Programme

With more than 28,000 talented people working across the globe for Diageo, our people remain our biggest asset. Our job in HR is to create an environment that inspires our employees to do the best work of their lives. And because we are an extraordinary company we go to extraordinary lengths to ensure that the potential we see in them (including yours of course) is realised.

At Diageo HR acts as performance partners to the business, playing an important role in the professional lives of our employees. You’ll use your skills to keep them inspired, engaged, driven and full of energy to fulfil their roles. During the two year programme, you will gain broad experience within the general HR functional discipline, and will also be given the chance to realise your potential in a specialist area such as Learning and Development, Performance and Reward, Talent Management and Development, Organisation Effectiveness and Business Partnering. As a Global company, one of these years may include an exciting move within Europe to another market. Throughout your two years, you will be involved in a stimulating series of in-depth developmental activities, to help you advance at accelerated pace, and prepare you for a role after the Programme.

In addition to the behaviours above you’ll need:

  • Obtained or expecting to obtain a minimum Bachelor 2.1 academic degree or equivalent in any subject.
  • Fluency in English and in the relevant language to the market you are applying
  • Excellent analytical ability
  • Mobile and prepared to relocate geographically during the programme
