Join us as an IT Consultant, you’ll play an important role being part of our Digital Advantage team. You’ll be working alongside our experienced team of consultants and architects. Together you will bring a broad and diverse set of skills across technology, platforms and capabilities incorporating architecture and management. Our collective skills in supporting our specialised disciplines means we can deliver holistic ownership in supporting solution design, applying best practice and appropriate frameworks to meet requirements.

Our success lies in a cohesive appetite for integration across the Atkins businesses, working to define and align effective and evidenced business and technology strategy and transformation. Supporting all industry sectors, our clients range from Energy, Transport, Utilities, Defence and HM Government.

You will be given significant responsibility for client-facing work from day one as well as helping to develop and shape aspects of the Atkins Digital Advisory team. You will be responsible for providing architectural leadership and direction setting in strategic programmes for our clients. You will be expected to have regular interactions with clients and key stakeholders, will be embedded in projects and will need to assist colleagues in delivering specific project outputs.

Within Atkins ADS&T Digital Advisory we operate as T shape consultants meaning that first and foremost all members of the Digital Advisory team regardless of specialty are wide breadth consultants with people and stakeholder skills at the core. All Digital Advisory consultants will then have specific specialisms from Data, Security, Cyber, Platforms, Digital Infrastructure, Service, Business and Enterprise Architecture skills and experience.

Our Early Careers Placement Programme is the ideal framework to experience life in a consultancy . It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain experience of working on a variety of projects whilst developing your technical and non-technical skills. You will learn how to work in a team, build your communication and written skills and work with stakeholders at all levels.

You will be given the independence and responsibility whilst you are with us alongside having a supportive structure in place to help you grow, with guidance from experienced consultants & engineers. You will work on real life projects and being given a variety of assignments.
