About the role and our team
Join our friendly and dedicated team in the Emergency Department at Noble’s Hospital on the Isle of Man!
We are looking for individuals who are hardworking, patient focused and able to work as part of a team.
Within the Emergency Department we care for patients with a variety of problems including injuries and illness across all age groups. You will work in partnership with colleagues across Manx Care and the wider emergency services to provide high quality and timely care to the Island’s population.
Your main duties will be the assessment of patient needs and delivering programs of care to patients maintaining a high standard of nursing care. You will be responsible for continuously improving your own knowledge and experience and organising your own workload so the interests of your patients is a top priority.
If you are committed to providing excellent quality care to patients and able to work in a busy environment as part of the multidisciplinary team, then this could be the role for you!
What can this role offer me?
By joining us you’ll be stepping away from NHS pressures and demands, as the Island’s healthcare system is similar but separate to the UK NHS.
You will have access to excellent development facilities and support, including our on-site education and training centre Keyll Darree. You can also take advantage of the great courses we offer through LEaD, our Learning, Education and Development Service.
Free on-site parking is available at Noble’s Hospital.
Manx Care is committed to creating smoke-free spaces and is ‘proud to be smoke free’ as part of the overall Isle of Man Smoke Free 2030 ambition.
