Data is one of the fastest growing areas in tech. With career paths leading to AI, machine learning and Big Data, now is a great time to join this sector.

On this free 12 week bootcamp, we’ll provide you with the perfect launchpad - you’ll learn the key technical and employment skills you need, and everyone who completes the course is guaranteed an interview with hiring employers at the end. Average starting salary is £25-£35k for an entry level role with room for quick progression.

As a data engineer, you build and maintain the tech systems that enable companies to navigate these huge amounts of data, smoothly and securely. It’s all about clear thinking, problem-solving and being ready to dive into the detail with your teammates.

What you’ll cover on the course

  • Database fundamentals
  • Programming languages including Python and SQL
  • Agile and scrum methodology
  • Intro to Big Data and machine learning
  • The key behaviours and mindsets for success in the role

Who can apply?

  • Aged 18-29
  • You’re not currently working more than 16 hours per week, and not in education or training
  • Right to live & work in UK
  • Available for 12 weeks from August, and ready to start a full-time job straight after the course

Required technical skills/qualifications

No formal qualifications required. We welcome both graduates and non-graduates from any educational background
You are developing basic Python Skills - you could start working towards the free Udacity Introduction to Python Programming to gain these
