Global Market Access is responsible for shaping development and commercial strategies to maximize the value of global assets and enable regional excellence. This includes synthesizing global payer insights for the identification and delivery of payer oriented market access strategies to include clinical & economic evidence needs that meet the payer's value thresholds (e.g. HTA agencies, institutions and patients) to optimize positive reimbursement and pricing outcomes that align to brand strategy and positioning. Through this internship program, the candidate will gain hands-on exposure to a variety of projects in the following areas landscape assessment, payer value proposition and narrative development, market access analytics, early asset development, capabilities building, and cross functional collaborative activities.
Key stakeholders include government/public payers, private insurance companies, and other key stakeholders who shape willingness to pay and reimbursement/price decisions.
Evaluate strengths and weaknesses of various access analytical tools containing pricing, HTA, clinical trials data etc to identify the 2-3 key business questions answered by the related systems with respect to market access/pricing potential or challenges of early assets.
Support the organisation to closely follow the evolving market access landscape and provide synthetic quarterly briefing to educate on the trends that could impact company’s portfolio strategy. This could include e.g. The latest evolvement of HTA harmonisation across the globe, change in HTA evaluation criteria (e.g. NICE), new access pathways for digital therapeutics etc.
Support the growth of a Virtual Market Access Community across the globe by contributing to a webinar series that focuses on specific learning topics or best-practice sharing
Provide selected project area support in Nephrology by working alongside a more senior member of the team.
