About the programme
The Goldcrest Graduate Development Program is a fast track intensive two-year programme designed to take talented graduates and develop them into one of our successful property developers. The programme is as rigorous and challenging as it is rewarding. It will stretch you to the limit and will be wholly dedicated to developing and fine-tuning your skills for an exciting career in property with a focus on land development. You will have unrivalled exposure to the property industry, an opportunity to work alongside the best and to advance your career as quickly as you can demonstrate your ability.
About the role
Graduates will assist with the acquisition of land to deliver profitable sites suitable for development of 5-500 residential or student housing units often with significant commercial elements. Responsibilities include:
- Building relationship with agents, property consultants and land owners
- Identifying sites which match the Company’s acquisition criteria
- Conducting on-site appraisals to evaluate various aspects of a site’s potential
- Prior to acquisition, assisting in the due diligence process
- Post acquisition, assisting with achieving outstanding planning consents
We assume no prior knowledge, although we expect you to learn quickly. You will have a sound intellect and an enquiring mind, therefore we are looking for good A levels and a 2.1 or higher, a property related degree is preferable but not essential. We require graduates to be enthusiastic, committed, hungry for knowledge and 100% driven by ambition.
Training & Development
The program blends on-the-job training, coaching and formal training. One aspect that sets Goldcrest’s programme apart is the mentoring provided by senior management; graduates have the opportunity to work with senior management on a one-to-one basis, providing unparalleled guidance and support that is vital for individual development and growth.
During the 2 year programme, which is based at our office in Fulham, you will gain a strong knowledge of the industry and of the Goldcrest business model. There are quarterly Personal Development Assessments designed to monitor your progress. It is important that key milestones are achieved and that you maintain a strong commitment and motivation towards your responsibilities.
