Your Role
We are looking for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant for our Infrastructure team to be based in Bristol, joining our 2026 Graduate Programme. As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort, developing your expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment.
The Opportunity
You will be part of a team spread across London, Manchester, Cardiff and Bristol, providing advice on noise and vibration to a wide variety of internal and external clients and stakeholders. You will join the existing Stantec UK Acoustics team, working alongside colleagues in Environmental Services and Stantec’s Engineering, Buildings, Infrastructure, Transportation and Planning teams.
We work across sectors such as major infrastructure, residential, commercial, arts, energy and waste, regeneration, environmental and planning, and we are currently supporting some of the country’s most significant projects.
Typical Responsibilities
- Visit sites to undertake noise and vibration surveys.
- Undertake acoustic calculations.
- Create acoustic models using specialist software to calculate sound levels.
- Prepare acoustic reports.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to arrange site access and communicate acoustic requirements.

About You
At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. Along with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Audio or Acoustics, Physics, Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field), and a keen interest in the infrastructure sector, you will be:

Working Pattern
Graduates are asked to be in the office four days per week to ensure sufficient time with the team and appropriate support.
