Your Role

We are looking for a Graduate Environmental Advisor to be based in Newcastle, joining our 2026 Graduate Programme.

Alongside our ambitious Environmental team, you will work closely with prestigious clients to develop innovative, sustainable, and efficient solutions that contribute to a greener future. This is a great opportunity to work on a wide range of high-profile projects, providing plenty of scope for career progression in industry.

As a Graduate Environmental Advisor, you will collaborate with senior team members and clients in the regulated water and energy sectors. Your responsibilities will include conducting Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), environmental management studies and audits, and preparing environmental planning reports. You will also help manage environmental and sustainability issues across a range of projects.

About You

At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. We welcome applications from candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Science, or Environmental Planning, accredited by the relevant professional body (CIWEM, IEMA, or RTPI), and a keen interest in the water industry. Working Pattern

Please note, we ask our graduates to come into the office 4 days per week to ensure you receive sufficient time with your team and the appropriate level of support.
